Florida - Change Your Laws Regarding The Slaughter of Animals for Any Purposes

Please sign and share this petition in an effort to encourage South Miami-Dade, Florida to change their laws regarding the slaughter of animals, whether for religious rituals or any other goals and reasoning's. Animals like dogs, cats, goats and more are not just objects that should be a sacrifice for praise, fun or entertainment! Any way you look at it, slaughtering animals for any purpose is considered abuse and cruelty of these creatures in life.

Recently, in South Miami-Dade, Florida, authorities discovered several sites of animal bones; ten dogs and a goat in a wooded area, all of which appeared to be the result of some type of religious ritual. It appears that an injured Chihuahua dog was roaming the area because it had escaped the ritual bag before being killed. The sad thing is that the law allows for people in this area to "humanely slaughter" for these types of purposes and rituals.

Where do they draw the line between a religious ritual or the many sick people who kill animals for fun and entertainment. There is something wrong with a law that says it is permissible to kill pets like dogs and cats or even farm animals as a sacrifice. Please help us in our efforts to change this law and declare the killing of any type of animal for any reason in any way to be a charge of felony animal cruelty and abuse.

Law Developers Department in South Miami-Dade, Florida - Your laws regarding the killing of animals for religious sacrifices needs to be changed because it basically gives people permission to abuse animals of any and all types. What is the real loophole between killing someone's pet dog or farm goat for religious rituals as opposed to a person who just thinks its permissible to kill animals out of anger or for a sick form of entertainment?? Please change this existing law so that no one is ever allowed to kill an animal for any purpose and those who do be charged with a felony animal cruelty and abuse charge for each harmed and hurt animal. There are many other ways people can sacrifice and worship without the cost of losing an animal's life! Change this law please that states no one is allowed to ever hurt or kill an animal and those who do will face stiff consequences. Be a voice for those "poor victims" who do not have one.
