Beach Glow Music festival is a nonprofit concert. Beach Glow is an EDM (electronic dance music) concert on the beach. Last year Beach Glow helped raise $40,000 dollars for the Red Cross to help the aftermath of the Hurricane Sandy victims. Beach Glow is an all volunteer organization to help as much as possible to contribute in making the world a better place. This year Beach Glow is donating to the Little Kids Rock which will bring programs and instruments to the school so they can experience music in the world today. Right now corporations do not want Beach Glow to come back to the city of North Wildwood, claiming that last year had a lot of problems. However, the city’s fire and police chiefs told the commission there were no unusual numbers of arrests or emergency medical calls the day of last year’s concert. As of right now Beach Glow will perform in Atlantic City because of Wildwood banning Beach Glow for 2015. The city of North Wildwood may lose a lot of profit from not continuing this concert for this upcoming summer. Considering Beach Glow is supporting bigger causes, it is a shame that larger corporations have the ability to overpower this small, non-profit organization. In hopes that this petition will help bring back Beach Glow to Wildwood, NJ, please sign this petition to make people become aware that Beach Glow helps raise awareness of non-profit organizations such as Red Cross, and now Little Kids Rock this upcoming year as well as providing people with the experience of a lifetime. Thank you!
