Save the lives of millions of animals

It is widely accepted that 9.6 million animals are euthanized annually in the United States. The true number is probably higher, if one would account for areas that have no animal shelters in place, and rely on police, vets, or other agencies to control animal populations. Additionally, some people kill animals (drowning litters of kittens, etc.) rather than taking them to shelters to be humanely taken care of. Not all animals that are found on the street need to be killed most just need the proper care and treatment and they would be as good as any other pet. Some people think it’s the Animal Shelters fault for killing so many animals but the truth is that everyone is responsible for the death of these animals. Instead of buying animals from breeders we could buy from shelters to reduce the animal count in the facilities. There are so many stray animals that the shelters cannot afford to keep all of them alive so they give them about 48 hours to live maybe more and then they are put down. These animals didn’t do anything wrong and they don’t know what they did to make themselves so unlucky. Animals can’t speak up for their rights so we must do it for them. Listed below are some organizations that take care of stray animals, socialize them, and then adopt them out to loving homes. Before you buy from a breeder take a look at these sites and see if these animals aren’t worthy of your love.

-The White Kitty Foundation

-Milo Sanctuary

-Best Friends Animal Sanctuary

- Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary

- Animal Acres

-Love and Hope Animal Sanctuary

-Blind Cat Rescue
