Hey Boehner: Stop Censoring Obama's SOTU Climate Remarks Online!

In his annual State of the Union address, President Obama had some powerful things to say about climate science - but when they posted the speech on the House Republicans' official website, Speaker Boehner's staff apparently deleted those passages. They claim they didn't do it on purpose and are "working with YouTube to figure out what happened" - but that's an awfully strange coincidence, given the missing lines in question.

President Obama said, "I’ve heard some folks try to dodge the evidence by saying they’re not scientists; that we don’t have enough information to act. Well, I’m not a scientist, either. But you know what – I know a lot of really good scientists at NASA, and NOAA, and at our major universities." The Republicans deleted the line reminding voters that scientists don't support the Republican position of denial on climate change. Then the President pointed out that the Pentagon calls for climate action - and the Republicans deleted that, too. Apparently when their positions conflict with the facts, they'd rather hide the facts then defend themselves!

Tell Speaker Boehner to stop misleading Americans about both climate science and President Obama's policies: Delete the misleading video and apologize for censoring science at once!

In his State of the Union address, President Obama pointed out that scientists and Pentagon experts alike believe in climate science and believe we need to address it urgently for the sake of our national security. When House Republicans posted the speech on their website, those lines had been censored. Stop misleading Americans about climate science and President Obama's policies! Delete the misleading video and apologize for censoring science at once!
