Stand up for "killer" grizzly in Yellowstone

On August 7, 2015 park rangers found the body of a Montana man who was allegedly killed and partially consumed by a grizzly bear a half mile off the trail at Elephant Back Loop in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. They assume that this bear is a local female with cubs and have trapped her with intent to euthanize her and possibly her cubs as well.
While I am sympathetic to the man's family, he was an experienced hiker, employed in the food service company for the park, and "loved Yellowstone". He should have known better than to hike "off trail" and enter the bear's habitat. This bear did not enter a human habitat with intent to kill. She was doing what bears are supposed to do in the wild.
If this man loved this park I am sure he would not want this bear euthanized because of his error. Please contact Dan Wenk, the Superintendent at Yellowstone and stand up for this bear!
