- Spit;
- Discard cigarette butts on streets.

Dear Friend,
Queens New York over the past decade has been the hub of the Chinese migration, as reflected by the rapidly expanding population moving into Flushing as their first choice. In fact, the ratio of Chinese in the Flushing area has exceeded 55%.
However, the prosperity of a community is not necessarily equivalent to a high quality of living! Flushing community is obviously plagued by serious littering, garbage dumping and casual spitting on sidewalks. Unsanitary conditions are already commonplace.
This undesirable phenomenon has generated a negative image, which may likely mischaracterize the entire community. Unless we counteract such an image by keeping the community clean on a daily basis.
We, therefore, ask you, a local citizen of New York, to take action to pledge and join the effort in keeping Flushing clean and loving the community and loving our neighbors.
