Demand photos and movies of abused animals may not be posted
All animal lovers should sign this petition to stop the horrible images and movies of tortured and abused animals being posted in the Facebook news feed. Being suddenly suprised by a graphic abuse picture is something that should not be allowed on Facebook. People should have the choice to view these kind of images or not to. If you don't want to see these images the only choice available now is to delete everyone or delete your account. As an animal lover and a Facebook user, I would like to see Facebook stop being a depresssing and emotional resource and become a fun and educational one for everyone. By signing this petition it is the first step in taking action to do so.
Dear Facebook INC,
I am going to do what it takes to have Facebook make it prohibited to post pictures and movies of animals that have been tortured or abused. Facebook is becoming a tramatic experience for people instead of the fun one it once was. Unlike a television people don't get a viewers warning to change the program ahead of time. lnstead we are innocently schrolling through the news feed when a horrific picture of an abused animal pops up. It is understandable that people want the person or persons involved caught and prosecuted but showing the graphic picture of the animal is unnecessary. Showing what happened gives the abuser pleasure and ideas. If a petition does not work I will join force with my radio and television contacts to take a more drastic approach. I want Facebook to be a positive resource once again.
