Help Us Protect Keller’s Character & Save Our Park!

The Keller Planning & Zoning Commission and several city council members recently rejected a plan that included 112 new homes, city sewer lines and a gift to the city of 35 acres of public park land along with additional amenities. However, this plan required the city to allow portions of the development to be rezoned from strictly low-density to a mix of low-density and medium-density. Now, a new plan has been submited that follows strict zoning laws but costs the city a great new park. You can see both plans in the attached picture. This is bad news for Keller families!

Keller is known for its open spaces and great parks. This one would have been a considerable asset to the city as it would have included a horse trail and lots of natural open space to explore and view nature.  We are saddened by this loss to the city and all the residents.  This land will be developed with or without the park.  Let's get our park back!

Please act now to help us protect Keller's character and save our park!

Sincerely,

We’re collecting signatures to support the original plan that provides the city with a great new park for all residents to enjoy. By signing this petition, you are showing your support for Keller parks and requesting the city council and the developer, Village Builders, to reconsider the original proposal. The Gean family wanted to gift this park to the city and the developer very much wanted to include it as part of this wonderful, new neighborhood. After you sign the petition we will contact you with news and more information about how to get involved.
