Justice for Dogs Seized from Raid on Dogfighting Ring

Last week, 367 pit bulls were rescued from one of the largest dog fighting rings in the United States. Some of the dogs were covered in fleas and tied with heavy chains to car axles buried in the ground. Others were so starved that their ribs were clearly visible and still suffering from grave untreated wounds.

These poor dogs had been forced from puppyhood to fight and kill each other. They've never known gentleness or the touch of a tender hand. Many of them are now living with organizations who are trying to teach them that not all humans will hurt them, but it'll take a lot of work.

Along with the raid, the feds seized $500,000 in cash that investigators believe was linked to illegal gambling on the dog fights. That money should go toward undoing some of the vast harm these people have inflicted on innocent animals.

Ask U.S. Attorney George Beck to designate the dogfighting ring cash toward rehoming and retraining the fighting dogs, so that they can learn how to love again!
