A life sentence means a full life sentence

Imagine your child is abducted and murdered, now think about the person responsible for their death should they be free to live their life after only serving 25 years of a life sentence only to be let out for "good behaviour" back into the community back where they can read offend? I think not a life sentence should mean a full life behind bars.
