Health Canada needs to recognize that type I diabetes is autoimmune disease that happens through no fault of our own at all. The cost of care for type I diabetes is astronomical, but a smoking Cancer patient is treated free of cost! This government needs to do something to alleviate the burden of cost of medication and testing supplies, otherwise they will be dealing with early death due to type I diabetes and the care associated with that! We are sick Canadians with rights that are being ignored by our government in Canada! Something needs to be done to allow type I diabetics to be able to afford care!
Let's get something done about this injustice and fight for our rights as sick Canadians! Tommy Douglas would be ashamed to see this turn of events!
