In the last 20 years 80% of orangutans (and many other species like rhinos, elephants & tigers) habitat has been lost due to logging, mining & Palm oil plantations. Millions of hectares of dense rainforest, home to many of the beautiful creatures are being destroyed for Palm oil!! Sustainable Palm oil is an option, yet humans still continue to destroy habitats & innocent lives. Orangutans are also an easier target for poachers as they have less protection from all the deforestation. Palm oil is in nearly every product we use and it doesn't help if "Palm Oil" isn't clearly labelled on the products. Please sign this petition to help make companies clearly label their products if their is existing Palm oil & not call it "vegetable oil" or anything else!
