We, ANIMAL FRIENDS from all countries, faced with the intolerable situation of the dogs on the island LA REUNION (France - Indian Ocean):
• puppies thrown alive into the ravines or in the garbage after being tied up and locked in bags
• puppies and dogs intentionally abandoned on roadsides to get crushed
• puppies and dogs abandoned in the lava fields, doomed to certain death, deprived of food and water
• injured, sick puppies and dogs in agony, dying in general indifference
• puppies eaten alive by rats
• puppies and dogs euthanized in a hurry because the reality is that nobody cares
We ask the french organization 30 MILLIONS D’AMIS to take action urgently in LA REUNION to provide help and support to all volunteers and associations who, day after day, desperately fight to save the dogs of the island in an almost general indifference.
We also ask the french organization 30 MILLIONS D’AMIS to intercede with the AUTHORITIES and POLITICIANS for the animal protection laws to be implemented, the perpetrators of abuse and abandonment punished and the sterilization obligatory.
