Marley’s owner took her dogs out for a walk 2 weeks ago, both on leads. While she was in the park a German Shepherd dog came running up to her dogs, obviously off the lead. She screamed at the owner to put the GSD on a lead and her dog, Yaz, got into a fight with the GSD. Marley’s owner was trying to handle Marley, the pup, who is twisting around on his lead and she fell, causing Yaz’s lead to drop. But she kept trying to get Yaz so that she would not fight with the GSD. Three men approached and pulled the dogs apart, then the police arrived and seized both dogs. The police then rang her to tell her that Yaz had been put to sleep, but didn’t tell her why or give her the option to get Yaz’s ashes back. Yaz and Marley’s owner wanted to put the ashes in with her son who had recently passed away as originally, Yaz was HIS dog. She was not told her rights or what she was entitled to do. They KILLED her dog Yaz and now they have Marley. They have told her that they have done a DNA test on Marley, which they haven’t. This is so unfair and unjustified and so wrong in many ways. WE WANT TO SEE THIS TO THE END AND THE PEOPLE WHO KILLED YAZ BROUGHT TO JUSTICE but for now Marley is priority and his owner has so much going on with her life that she has to deal with.
