In the 1970's the world experienced a truly original rock band that emerged on the Seattle music scene and eventually took the nation by storm. This group was "Heart" and was fronted by the creative and progressive songwriting style of Roger Fisher, the production work of his brother Michael Fisher, talented musicians in bassist Steve Fossen, drummer Michael Derosier and eventually adding guitarist Howard Leese. The band was fronted by the sisters of rock themselves, Ann and Nancy Wilson. With Ann's power house vocals she quickly became the most talked about and revered female rock singer in the buisness, and still is to this day. Nancy, a gifted and accomplished songwriter and player with amazing vocals adds the perfect mixture that made Heart what it was in their early days. As all Heart fans know in 1979 this line-up came to a halt, and as members began going in different directions the band took on different forms and styles up until this day.
In 2013 after previous nominations, the Seattle, WA based super group was finally inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In this celebration and momentous ocassion the original members reunited after 34 long years, and shared the stage for the first time since 1979. Members of the group put aside personal differences and showed fans everywhere that this celebration was indeed special, honored and received by their long history in the music industry.
We the fans got just a small dose (of what could be) as the band played their "Heart" out on their fan favorite, and first big hit "Crazy on You" at the Hall of Fame Ceremony.
Upon seeing other groups of their era now reuniting and mounting country and worldwide tours, we are propositioning and petitioning the original members of Heart to reunite one last time and give your fans a proper send off, and allow us to honor you as well. To the older group of listeners, and many (your later in life fans) some never got to experience the originality of your music on stage, or to at least see it end the way it should have been. Fans of all ages have missed out on watching, singing along to songs in concert, and seeing the joy of their favorite band together on stage once again! We hope you see the names on this list, and realize there are still many out here who want to see this reunion take place! We hope to see you all in a concert venue in our city soon!
