The Screen Actors Guild Pledge

Gun control is an issues that is in the news daily. Members of the Screen Actors Guild continue to make, promote and star in movies that glorify gun violence. It is time that Hollywood practice what they preach and pledge to not make, promote or star in movies that display guns or depict gun violence. Pressure was put on the entertainment industry to limit or omit depictions of smoking. Smoking is no longer considered cool. That change has encouraged people to quit and has reduced the number of young people who take up the habit. Let's do the same for gun violence.
