90th birthday on April 24, 2013 World War 2 veteran - Army Air Corp Chrysler retiree and great Dad & Grand Dad
Dear President Obama, we are attempting to honor a man that has helped each of us learn to "Hope for Change" and more importantly, how to be part of that change. In the years before your rise to a position able to inspire each of us to be engaged and believe with you that "Yes we can," this man I am blessed to call my Dad has served his country during the World War II time period, then later went on to build a successful career with Chrysler, and with great dignity and grace, is preparing to celebrate his 90th Birthday. A birthday wish from you would mean the world to my Dad most importantly, but also to me. I know you are busy and this is just one of many requests you probably never get to see, but there is any way possible for you to send my Dad a birthday card for his 90th birthday it would be the best. While his birthday is April 24th, any time you could send the card would be deeply and truely appreciated. May God bless my Dad, my President Obama, and my country. Sincerely, Steve
For those taking the time to add your voice to this request to President Obama for a man who has and is inspirational in his own way to each of our lives, thank you.
While we did not reach the 1000 signatures we hoped for, we have Bob in our lives and that is the true gift for us. Wishing many more happy, healthy, prosperous years for Bob and we'll give the petition another shot at 100. Hope to talk with and see each of you then. // Steve
