Roger Daltrey Should Be Casted As Doctor Who

Lately the line up that BBC has casted to play the famed "Doctor" in "Doctor Who" have been unique and a contribution in their own right to add to the legacy of the series for over fifty years now. From some like David Tenant, to Matt Smith, and even Johnaton Hurt, and finally Peter Capaldi in the recent incarnations.

Lately I couldn't help and fathom of an incarnation of which could tie in the generations from the first premiere of in 1963 to present. That is why I make this petition for the BBC to consider Roger Daltrey the lead singer of "The Who" himself to be casted as the Doctor.

Reasons why:

1: Famed Singer of the Who.

As a famed lead singer he is essentially THE definition of the 60's. His contribution to the Rock Era is undisputed. And to bring that quality to Doctor Who would be an awesome contribution as both singer, and entertainer in many forms. Including traits character wise as a musician.

2: Has Acting Experience.

With movies like Tommy, to The Legacy, series like Highlander and many more it's a resume that BBC should look at. Plus he's iconic, at 73 years old? WHY NOT!

3: Name/Personality/Icon; Says It All!

Finally again personality, reputation, career, name it says it all. Roger Daltrey is a household name and probably one of the MOST AWESOME people to encounter and get to know. If at least for a set of episode maybe or more still, he is a great reason to tie in both the classics with the modern with a WHO twist to it.

So there you have it, why I think Roger Daltrey is perfect for Doctor Who. Folks join me behind this push as a Whovian fan and lets send this to BBC to consider.
