Over the last two years, the culture of St. Croix Preparatory Academy's Lower School has become toxic.
◦40% Teacher attrition in the 2015/2016 school year
◦Teachers and parents are expressing the environment is toxic (bullying of both staff and students by administration has been cited)
◦Student suspension rates are on the rise
◦Families are not finding resolution utilizing the communication protocol
◦Ethics complaints have been filed with the Board of School Administrators
The reputation of St. Croix Prep is at risk. The school's inability to attract and retain a strong teaching faculty in the lower school is a large concern and will continue to impact our kids until the issues with the culture are resolved.
Petition results will not be shared with the target audience unless a minimum of 50 parents sign.
An independent investigation was recently completed for the City Council of Lake Elmo. The investigation was hugely successful in uncovering what many employees had been citing as a toxic culture. The end result was change.
Is the Lower School at St. Croix Prep a safe environment for our children? This is a question we deserve an answer to.
