Makes her nest on grassy hummocs, Nesting in whole Finland onshore the lakes and ponds. The population is decaining very fast even so many little birds in Finland. Lapland is the best for these birds as so many animals. Here is not so much people polluting the areas.

I am feeding birds outside my windows on the river side and there are really many species which come after food here. There are fx.: The Great tit, the Willow tit, Eurasian blue tit, The European green finch, sparrow which usually is city bird, and of course the Endangered White-backed woodpecker.
