Make Monsters Inc. 2: Lost In Scaradise, Pixar!

In 2001, Pixar released a movie called Monsters Inc. This has become a very beloved film to early-late 90's kids, and early 2000's kids. At one point after it's release, Disney (owner of Pixar) decided to create a special company that would make direct-to-video sequels to it's movies, like Toy Story, and yes, Monsters Inc.

The company was eventually shot down, but not before early drawings, and storyboards for then-cancelled Pixar sequels were made. There is one story from the scrapped sequels that has a lot of fans wondering what if this were made? A lot of fans support this sequel. The sequel I am referring to is Monsters Inc. 2: Lost In Scaradise.

This story would've picked up 1 year after the events of Monsters Inc., and would've found Mike and Sulley going to surprise Boo for her birthday. But when they walk through her closet door, they discover that Boo and her family have moved. Now stuck in the human world, Mike and Sulley go on a mission to find Boo, and to return home to the monster world.

Like so many fans around the world, I love this concept. I love the idea, and what it could lead to for Mike, Sulley and even adorable little Boo. How will Mike and Sulley take/adapt to the human world for a certain period of time? Can they stay hidden from humans while trying to find Boo? Will they return to Monstropolis? These are questions I, for one, wanna find out the answers to.

If your so obliged, please sign this petition to show Pixar and Pete Docter (worked on Monsters Inc., and the Prequel, Monsters University) that we want this story to be told, and that we'd love at least one more visit to Monstropolis to see James P. Sullivan, Mike Wazowski and adorable little Boo.

The closet door is closed, and it's up to us to let Mike and Sulley out.
