Petition to have Lottery money go to Animal charities

  • by: Tim Gordon
  • recipient: British Prime Minister and U.K.Parliament
At the moment rules governing the National Lottery do not allow charitable grants to be given to Animal/Animal welfare organisations and charities and this is unfair and discriminates against needy and defenceless and abused animals of all types.

We need to make parliamentarians aware that the British animal loving public would like to see a portion of lottery charitable grants go to relieving suffering to varied groups supporting animals.

The lottery rules need to be changed in order that funds can be used to help animals and people do not know that animals cannot be helped at present via lottery money which is wrong and not what the British people would consider to be fair and this situation needs to be changed.
