There are too many bad people, who are police officers. There are so many people who are willing to police their own communities, but they are not given an opportunity.
There needs to be a board of people, who are deemed fit of making decisions, that will have positive effects over the community, who will have full jurisdiction of the of the screening process, of recruting police officers. If they deem somebody is unfit of being a ploce officer, they will have to deny them from the process. If somebody has too many code of ethics violations brought against them, they will be brought before the council and seen if they are fit of being an officer of not.
My name is Chris Warren. I live in Roanoke, VA. I used to love where i came from. Over these past few years, ive watched the world become more depressed than ive ever thought to be possible. I do not value my life, over any life on this planet. I am willing to lay down my life, to make sure none of my fellow officers, or citizens are hurt. I am willing to use lethal force if neccessary, but i think we need to find people who will use lethal force as a last resort. I know i am not the only one who feels this way. We have too many cases, of high ranking police officials, giving commands to low ranked officers, to target poor people, and minorities. I am a white male, and have had a few weird interactions with police. in 0 of these encounters, did i ever feel like the cop wanted to protect me, but to protect the property he was around. I was never doing anything wrong in any of these encounters, other than tresspassing unnintentionally. (kids will be kids).
I have also had encounters with police, when i am around my black friends. these counters go completely different, and it is uncalled for. I would never associate myself with anybody, who intentionally causes violence. In fact, many of these same colored friends, have helped break up many physical altercations. The police state in this country is out of control, and something needs to be done, NOW. Allow the whole country, to brain storm ideas, and we will truly make this country great again, without the use of brute force police tactics. 1 innocent life shot, is one too many. All lives Matter.
