Yawning At The Airport Can Get You Flagged By Security: This TSA Program Must End!

The Transportation Security Agency (TSA) has long infringed on travelers' civil rights and privacy, but the agency's newly revealed list of "suspicious" behaviors asserts almost all travelers are potential criminals.

Under the program, "Screening Passengers by Observation Techniques," the following actions can trigger an investigation from law enforcement: whistling, yawning, too much laughter, "pale face from recent shaving of beard," "gazing down," "excessive throat clearing," arriving late, tightly gripping a bag, appearing confused or disoriented, running your fingers through your hair repeatedly, and looking puzzled about where to find your gate.

Who HASN'T exhibited at least one of these behaviors at an airport?! U.S. citizens are not all criminals, and we should not be treated as such.

In a 2014 report, the Government Accountability Office, and independent watchdog agency, questioned said this program is not useful and is ineffective. The agency recommended Congress limit funding for the program.

Please sign the petition to ask Congress to limit funding for this wasteful, unnecessary and invasive program!
