I've heard stories of single parents working "under the table" so they do not lose their food stamp benefits. They feel they have to do this because their food stamps often runs out and sometimes they wonder where their next meal is going to come from or these parents sacrifice not eating just so their children can eat. This petition is for the United States government to increase food stamps for single parent families.
