1080 poison has been used as a form of pest control in New Zealand since the mid 1950s and is banned in just about every other country. The fight to end this has been going on too long.
In defiance of my former petition to end 1080 poison drops in New Zealand along with many others trying to push for the same results the 60'000 signature petition has been rejected.
If a foreign helicopter flew over your city and began dropping 1080 poison would this not be an act of war? well in this case the department of conservation of New Zealand will conduct this Aerial 1080 drop while hunters are still in the bush.
The hunters have threatened to shoot the helicopters out of the sky because they feel this is terrorism. 1080 will be dropped over the bush even when people are hunting.
What started as a protest for animal rights is fast becoming clear human rights are at stake as its even growing more unsafe for hunters to eat what they catch.
In defiance of many efforts to end this the government have funded a further 80 million dollars into this act of terrorism,
This petition is to support that Aerial 1080 drops is an act of terrorism is defiance of peaceful protest.
I will also go as far as calling this government treason on its own people. The government wish to eradicate all pests by 2050 and thats includes possums, rabbits, rats, weasles, cats, stoats, goats, deer, and hedgehogs.
They believe killing all these animals with poison will protect the native wildlife but these actions are now killing the native birds including the kiwi birds which are eating the pellets and dying a gruesome death. This poison has also been killing cattle and dogs and horses and sheep.
We now face the 1080 poison in the rivers where doctors are asking people to be tested for this poison and in many cases this is the same water being bottled and sent out internationally to consumers.
The amount of poison in this bottled water may be minimal however small amounts of anything over a long period of time can have damaging effects on health.
