Demand Better Animal Welfare in the Surabaya Zoo of Indonesia!

The Surabaya Zoo, located in Indonesia is one of the most famous zoos and a major tourist attraction in Southeast Asia. But, the "Surabaya Zoo of Death" has been home to the death of a rare Sumatran tiger, a vulnerable African lion, an endangered wallaby, a vulnerable komodo dragon, an endangered Babirusa cub, a critically endangered Bawean deer, and a crocodile. Hundreds of animals die every year, due to stress, starvation and overcrowded enviroments. The picture above is the tiger that passed away. RIP Rosek - always in our hearts, along with the other animals.

We cannot stand around expecting change to happen. You can help change the lives of thousands of animals with a simple click. It doesn't require any money, time, or effort, just your genuine concern.

*Vulnerable is a conservation status, which comes before endangered.

This death zoo has employed negligent, cruel and careless workers to care for these beautiful animals, who rely on us as caregivers and parents, who instead act like imbeciles and walk around with a lack of care and leave these animals to die. The zoo also has several documented cases of animal abuse. The zoo currently hold over 4,200 animals!

The man who runs the zoo, put out a statement that many employees have been caught stealing meat intended for the animals for themselves (how outrageous!). Sometimes, in the case of rare species, stealing the animals themselves.

Sign this petition, and don't visit the zoo, spread the word, don't let these careless, bigoted owners get away with their cruel actions!
