Bring Back The Faith!

As I'm sure you are all aware this Covid-19 is spreading mayhem. My sympathies for anyone who has contracted it. I am not denying that this is a virus and that it could be potentially harmful or deadly in some cases however I do not believe it is all that the media and officials are trying to make us believe it is. Even if it were the deadly virus that the media is making it out to be should that prevent us from our freedom of worship? Catholics through the ages have weathered much worse plagues, famine, Communism, ect.. What was their response? Increase in processions, expositions of the Holy Eucharist, more prayers, and sacrifices! Are we going to let those Catholics out do us now? Are we going to fall and just except what the government is telling us to do! We as Catholics need to stand up and defend Holy Mother church even if it's just one state at a time it will be a start. Why would we sit by and not try to do something about it? After all there is a separation of church and state, is there not? If the golf course can petition the governor because they are "essential", why can't we? If video game stores can stay open and voting booths too, why can't we congregate? If the abortion clinics can stay open and kill many lives yet the media is screaming, "people are dying and we need to quarantine"; can't we scream people and babies are dying and we need the Mass!". The priest in the SSPX are doing all they can to make sure we can still receive the sacraments. They are a few among many. Many people have started to speak out about the lack of religious freedom. We need to support them! I know there are some of you out there that are worried but God is not a business. He is our life, man does not live by bread alone but has life in the spirit. God decides who gets what sickness, not us. How many stories are there of this town, or village, or home that was protected or cured from disease or plague just from using the sacraments like Holy Water or having the priest do a special blessing or procession! These are not stories! These are the facts of our Christian religion and we need to act as Christians! We read about the hard times the church has faced now we are in it. Let's not only support our priests but take it a step further and get signatures to petition the governor's office. We want to demand not only that we are allowd to congregate and worship but that the churches will never get shut down again! Let's storm Heaven with prayers and our government officials with signitures! Many sermons have been preached on the lack of Faith in our times. Let us rekindle that Faith and show God and Our Lady that we TRUST in them!
