Override Illinois Governor's Veto of a Law that would have Registered 2 Million Voters!

Governor Bruce Rauner has veto'd the Automatic Voter Registration Bill that would have registered 2 million voters.

Illinois would have been among 6 states with automatic registration.

While Rauner initially showed support for simplifying the voter process, he ultimately claims that “the consequences could be injurious to our election system”.  Even though a new study has found that the risk of voter fraud is extremely rare.

Automatic voter registration has the ability to bring more people to the polls by simplifying the process by giving people a chance and incentive to vote.

Everyone should have an equal say in the future of this country.

Please sign and tell the Illinois General Assembly to override Governor Bruce Rauner's veto of the Automatic Voter Registration Bill!
