Demand Maximum Penalty for Strangling, Beating, Kicking, Throwing Pit Bull

Please sign this petition to prosecute Asani Woods for repeatedly strangling, beating with boxing gloves, and kicking a dog, and then throwing that dog across the room against 1) the wall and 2) the floor after the dog, during his absence, knocked over a kitchen trash can that contained left-over meat bones. Please sign this petition to also prosecute Johnny Dominick for encouraging Asani Woods and filming what constitutes aggravated animal cruelty under Louisiana state law. Please sign this petition to seek the maximum penalty of imprisonment (10 years) instead of fines ($25,000).

A few weeks later, Asani Woods dropped the dog off at an animal shelter, claiming that the dog was "overly aggressive" (according to the following report), and the dog was euthanized.

All in all, a crime that definitely falls under Louisiana's aggravated animal cruelty statutes for "Offenses Affecting the Public Sensibility". [LSA-R.S 14:102.1 (B) (1)]
