Ban the Breeding of Unhealthy and Deformed Animals

For decades now, people continue to selfishly breed animals with deformities, excessive and extreme features without any regards for their health and lifestyle. When does it stop?

From fancy parakeets and rabbits with too much feathers and fur, to horses and exotic bullys with high rears, swayed backs, bowed legs and deformed heads, When does it stop?

Everyday life and its basic necessities like breathing, walking, running, playing or even being able to groom themselves should not be a struggle or even encouraged for the vanity of some people.

So when does it Stop?

How about Now.

The UK has already taken a stance and banned the breeding of deformed and unhealthy dogs.

The same should apply to every animal being kept and bred in captivity since this type of Animal Abuse and Neglect affects them all from horses and other farm animals to the smallest chihuahua.

This is a proposal to add the breeding of genetically unhealthy and disfigured animals to the already existing Animal Abuse and Cruelty laws to hold people responsiblel for their actions.

Lets make it punishable by law with fines, imprisonment as well as having to register as an Animal Abuser when people purposefully breed animals with and for traits that hender their health and daily life.

Practically every week there's a new video or article of an animal that was found, surrendered or rescued due to genetic deformities or health issues to where the owner couldn't afford the health care required to help that animal and or the breeder wasn't able to sell it.

Those are just the ones we see, think about how many others there are that we don't and are still not recieving the help they need.

Instead they are being carried, placed in wagons or strollers in some cases, because of their inability to walk or even breath properly and still paraded around or across stages for show, while encouraging others to do the same.

It's truly sad that it would even have to come to this, since it really doesn't take much to breed responsibly, just put the animals health, proper structure and quality of life first.

We should strive and fight for healthier, long living pets just like we do for ourselves.

If not just for their benefit but for ours as well, since they bring so much to our own lives that's irreplaceable and hard to find any where else.

This is not a petition to stop all breeders or breeding, just the unethical ones.

Will you help?
