Cub petting, especially in countries like South Africa is a money filled business. Therefore, travel agents still offer holidays to places like Johannesburg Lion Park.
When tourists finish with their lion cubs, the cubs are left to grow up, before being shot by other tourists in small compounds or under light sedation. This has no place in modern society. Animal abuse like this MUST end! Travel agents must stop advertising holidays like this.

Over the years, I have become aware of the monetary gain of travel agents when they advertise holidays to places which offer cub petting. This is not conservation! It is simply a money making venture that includes wild animal abuse and later, canned hunting. Every budding conservationist and tourist needs to know about what they may be supporting. No lion cub that has ever been petted can ever return to the wild. So the british public need to know about the organisations and holidays that take part in these practices..
The lions can also carry worms which can cause meningitis in humans after three years of infection without causing obvious problems before this. Human fatality is not a matter which we can all brush over. I trust that you understand this.
Nothing of this nature has a place in our modern society.
