People usually think of leopards in the savannas of Africa but in the Russian Far East, a rare subspecies has adapted to life in the temperate forests that make up the northern-most part of the species’ range. These are the Amur leopards. Similar to other leopards, the Amur leopard can run at speeds of up to 37 miles per hour. This Amur has been seen to leap more than 19 feet horizontally and up to 10 feet vertically. They are beautiful creatures, but they have and wonderful pelt that people will trade and sell for bucket loads of money. But the consequences are heavy. There are only about 30 individuals left and they are critically endangered. Allabouteverything will donate 1 cents for every individual who signs and 5 cents for every time this is shared. If we get the full 900$ dollors the maybe. If you have the time please check out our website: http://vittoriaclark.wix.com/helpingthewildlife
