STOP KILLING WOLVES IN IDAHO! Demand wolves be put on endangered species list.

  • by: Karen LaFountain

Gov. Butch Otter, and some of Idahos government officials sent trappers, last winter to wipe out the wolf packs in Frank Church River of No Return wilderness (the largest wilderness in lower 48 states), so that there might be more elk to harvest, when truth is the elk in both Church River as well as Yellowstone is at an unmanageable population. And the truth is more poachers kill more elk than wolves. A healthy wolf population supports healthy wildlife habitat. Wolves are vital to the delicate balanceof our Forrest's ecosystem because they influence the the eating behavior of deer and elk, allowing vegetation to grow in Forrest's, which in turn supports birds, fish, fox, and beaver. The Idaho government has proven time and time again that they are not using the best available science, but rather manipulating number's to appease special interest groups and organizations, as well as the livestock industry. PLEASE HELP US ENSURE WOLVES SAFETY AND SIGN THIS PETITION!

This petition is a critically important document, balanced, it is a evidence-based article- this time on wolves and their increasingly perilous existence. Above all, thanks for clearly acknowledging that it's human persecution that is the problem here. I remain baffled at the hate and vicious cruelty wolves suffer at our species' hands, but I look forward to our public's knowledgeable input by signing this petition. Thank you, KEEP Wolves ALIVE, at m.facebook.com/Karen.lafountain13.
