He attempted to take away property rights by restricting the use of firearms, then when the issue became heated, he resigned as Mayor, turned in his keys, notified the Village Clerk, a staff member, Village Attorney a Council Member (Dodson) just hours before a controversial meeting. The day after the meeting, he changed his mind and walked right into a special called meeting and took over stating that he is the Mayor and that's how it's going to be! He took charge over a meeting that was about his own misconduct.
