Hologram the Firegram. Push for Holographic fireworks.

Fireworks are showy, bright and loud. But mainly they are distressing to young children, animals especially and certain individuals who could have health issues that are triggered by bright lights and explosive sounds. Each year around July and especially during people are most reckless and irresponsible with fireworks. They cause accidents, start fires, disrupt the peace and cause extreme stress on animals, young children, the elderly and countless others. While it is a symbol of our independence it has become an excuse for people to abuse this power. The sale of Fireworks is like gun safety, if it's released to the public without regulation it has the potential to cause unnecessary tragedy. If America must "have" their symbol of independence in a technological age, then make it possible to have "technological fireworks", holograms that make different friendlier sounds instead of something that sounds like a battle field and causes unneeded stress on pet owners and others who are sensitive to loud noises. Or make soundless fireworks, I am sure the blinding effect of the lights should be enough of a signal for our freedom. I am asking as a pet owner who fears for the sanity and safety of my animals and myself, not only does the sound disrupt the peace of my animals but it also makes me fear for my own health and safety. Such an iconic day shouldn't be one people come to loathe and fear because of the symbol used to celebrate, it should be a day of just that; celebrating. In this age of smart phones and talking cars, why should it be impossible to make the 4th a day everyone can enjoy? Please consider the well being of all on this iconic day and not just those unfortunate enough not to know the joys that animals bring when they're not cowering in their owners arms because of the loud noises which hurt their ears because they are scientifically proven to be ten times more sensitive than a humans. As I write this my terrier mix is resting in my arms with loud tranquil music playing on my laptop in order to drown out the immense booms of the fireworks from neighbors who should know better than to shoot off fireworks, especially in dry as dirt California. Whether it is willful ignorance or full knowledge please consider how you'd feel having your ears shattered by deafening sounds that make terror fill your heart. Put yourself in their shoes and then decide if you think a change should be made. I hope enough people can put themselves in the shoes of those who depend on you to protect and love them in order to make a change for the better of everyone. Thank You.
