The NFL has taken the Nation Anthem off television because NFL players refuse to stand and put their hands over their hearts. Instead, NFL players choose to kneel during the National Anthem. By kneeling they are telling the world this is how they are protesting police brutality. Due to the NFL players protest the stadiums are not as full, sponsors sales are down and less folks are watching football on TV. This petition is to tell the NFL players, owners, coaches and the commissioner to have all NFL players stand and put their hands over their hearts during the National Anthem. The National Anthem is giving Thanks to our Military, past and present, for the wonderful freedoms we have and freedoms other countries will never see. The military has earned the right to see everyone, including the NFL players, standing with their hand over their heart.
As far as their protest on police brutality, this protest needs to be dealt with on their OWN time. No protesting while you are working!
