Downzone Lansdale

Lansdale is a planned unit development that will adversely effect the Monrovia community and surrounding townships. Inadequate infrastructure, overcrowding of schools and virtually no contributions to these necessary improvements will be made by the developer.

This leaves all of the burden on the existing tax payers in the communities and even county.  We are not against development; we want the development size to be reduced, the lot sizes to be increased and the developer's rights and responsibilities (financial) to be expanded upon.

We are asking for this development to be downsized.

We are asking the Board of County Commissioners to downzone this development project.  We do not feel that the Lansdale planned unit development is in keeping with the 2010 Comprehensive Plan for the county.  We also feel that this development will create undue financial burdens on the existing residents and facilities.  Further, the Developer's Rights and Responsibilities are inadequate and vague and do not cover the financial burdens of the Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance.
