Carrie Fisher was not just a movie star, she was a role model, as well as an author. Her sudden death on December 27, 2016 shocked and saddened the entertainment world. As a person who has contributed so much on the big screen, especially in her iconic role as Princess/General Leia Organa in the "Star Wars" saga, she deserves this recognition.

We the undersigned ask that you honor the late Carrie Fisher with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, due to the contributions she has made to the entertainment world. She is well known for her portrayal of the feisty and resourceful Princess Leia Organa in the Star Wars franchise, as well as for penning several fiction and non-fiction books.
