Tell the Supreme Court to keep guns out of the hands of domestic abusers!

Time and time again, we see abusive American men use firearms to kill their partners — and often their entire families — for having the courage to try and leave them. 70% of all femicide cases in the developed world occur in the US, and abusers with guns are 5x more likely to kill their partners than abusers without.

Domestic abuse is a society-wide problem that cannot be easily addressed; but what we CAN do is keep guns out of the hands of abusers. Unfortunately, the conservative Supreme Court appears intent on ruling that a 1994 law passed to keep guns out of the hands of domestic abusers violates the Second Amendment.

Tell SCOTUS keep guns out of the hands of abusers!

Lawmakers in Congess have urged the Supreme Court to leave the law alone, writing that to overturn it would "jeopardize decades of bipartisan efforts to protect some of our country's most vulnerable citizens."

It's a no-brainer that Congress should be able to ban firearm possession for people found by a court to be a danger to themselves and others. America's femicide rate is already sky-high; SCOTUS is going to cause countless more deaths if they overturn this law.
