As caregiver to my son, and supervisor for his visitation rights, I as his daughter's grandmother, believe I should have rights to speak for her. Especially since my son has a TBI, and her mom is nit only neglecting my granddaughter, but I suspect emotionally and mentally abusing her. Also suspect physical and sexual abuse by stepdad. Have contacted CPS numerous times, with no resukts. They are always cleared. But even worse? I can not do anything. Not my rights. No one will listen either. Keep forwarding my calls to others. Passing the buck. Please. We need, or I do, as do many other grandparents, who have all the responsibility when they take care of them, but no rights. And not just here in MD. A cousin in NY suffers because of another Malicious Mom.
