Dear esteemed members of the great and honorable Hellenic Parliament. We request that you do not spend any money supporting the cruel and barbaric fur industry. In today's economic crises it is the height of irresponsibility to spend a million Euros of the taxpayers hard earned wages propping up the fur industry. We demand that you put people and animals before the profits of an industry with blood on its hands.If you spend money on the fur industry the taxpayers will vote you out of office during the next elections. In addition should you decide to go against the will of the people and give even one Euro to the fur industry we will initiate a worldwide boycott of Greek products. At a minimum you will lose tens of millions of Euros in foreign trade should you decide to support the bloody fur trade. Spend the million Euros instead on people who are truly in need of assistance. Do not support an industry which is literally dying. Greece is the foundation of western civilization. Show that you are indeed civilized and compassionate by supporting people and animals over the barbaric merchants of death.
