Women's right to go topless in Toronto Parks !

On July 21st, 2011, the Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation Department refused to issue the Canadian chapter of GoTopless.org an Aug 28 special event permit.

In doing so,  the Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation authorities acted inappropriately because they misinterpreted current law. Municipal codes should not be above provincial laws. Indeed,  since 1985,  the Canadian Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms guarantees equality for the rights and freedoms of male and female persons.

Rael, spiritual leader of the Raelian Movement and founder of goTopless.org states: "as long as men can be topless, constitutionally women should have the same right, or men should also be forced to wear something hiding their chest."

Gotopless.org claims the constitutional right of women to go topless in Toronto parks and beaches.
