Black Sabbath are the Founding Fathers of Heavy Metal.
There is no more revered band in heavy music today than Black Sabbath.
Black Sabbath's original & most classic lineup features Ozzy Osboune on vocals, Tony Iommi on guitar, Terry 'Geezer' Butler on bass & Bill Ward on drums.
We believe that each member contributed something to the classic sound that,
when combined, created something that cannot be duplicated by anyone else or any other version of the band.
We call on the original 4 members of Black Sabbath to
reunite for a farewell tour, with the stipulation that
ALL PROFIT from the tour be split EQUALLY
between all four original members.
To the members of Black Sabbath....
You fans are calling on you to do the right thing.
Do one last tour with the complete original lineup,
and share the profit EQUALLY.
Period.
Set your egos aside.
You already have more money than you will spend in your remaining lifetime.
This tour shouldn't be about money, or who did more,
enough is enough!
It should be about the fans,
the history of the band, and the history of heavy metal itself.
Each one of you put something in that you simply
cannot get from anyone else.
People talk about Bill's health, and treat him as if he's less of a member
or contributed less than the others to the magic formula....
but without his swinging style, it wouldn't have been the same.
His style affected how you wrote, period...
Ozzy's vocals have had years when they were HORRIBLE
and we still supported you.
With all the different people Tony brought in over the years,
he diluted Sabbath so much that he nearly cost the band it's very identity,
and we still supported you.
Do the right thing....do a reunion tour and treat each other as the equals you truly are.
Don't go out with this * next to the last touring Sabbath ever does,
because you cast one of your brothers aside in the name of ego & money.
Get Bill Ward back and give him & equal share of the tour fees.
Go out as a band of brothers, like you started.
Do it for yourselves...
do it for your fans....
Make history one last time and go out in a blaze of glory.
Be BLACK SABBATH again.
