Ruben Lawrence just 23 years old was brutally murdered in the early hours of Sunday morning the 03-01-2016. Not only was he brutally murdered by being shot 4 times, but he was murdered over a petty theft of R6000 that he did not even commit!!! The shooter realized this when searching the car after he had already shot Ruben. A little too late.
To make matters even worse the suspect already has multiple charges to his name including possession of drugs and a dropped charge of attempted murder among other charges.
We the family of Ruben Lawrence urge you to sign this petition and not let the death of our son be in vain. It could have been anyone's son,brother,husband,father or friend, but God chose our son and we refuse to let his death be in vain. Please take your time to sign the petition and circulate it to as many people as possible to help us stop the bail application of the murderer. To have him once again freely roaming the streets of Eersterust would just be another blow to our already wounded society !!
