Recycling- It is the right thing to do.

It's no secret- recycling is beneficial to our environment. Instead of adding more waste to the planet and filling up our landfills, we can reduce the amount of pollution in our air and water. By initiating a recycling program in Bethany, we could create more jobs for our community and do our part in helping protect the environment. We receive grants for new libraries and other nonessential project, but Bethany has never seen recycling. We have a large college and many schools here. Can you imagine how much waste materials these facilities put out? Let's initiate recycling with our Bethany officials to do our part in protecting the Earth that we are so graciously borrowing. This is not our land, it is the land of our future generations. We have a choice on what kind of Earth our children are inheriting, so let's make the right one.
