Fight for real social justice! Get politics away from entertainment, and fight for the truth!

During the last 3 years approx, the media have been bombarded by movies that respect social justice... A good idea it seems, right? That's what I thought too! I was optimistic and excited to see people ready to stop blabbering and make a change, but was overwhelmingly disappointed...

The basic demands was to STOP the stereotypical aryan male hero to let everyone, no matter what their sex, the color of their skin, their beliefs or their origin shine on the big screen. Here are a few examples of how things happened; I'll let you be the judge:

    - Dunkirk, 2017: A story about WWII, where soldiers (the evil white men...) are combatting for their country in a fierce battle. The response? One would imagine respect for the soldiers who gave their lives for their country, or hate towards the governments because they used violence and killed people instetad of diplomacy to solve conflicts. No. People hated the movie because there were too many white men... Let that sink in
    - Star Wars: The Force Awakens: This movie saw the addition of new characters to fight alongside legendary characters, one presumed to be gay, one asian lady and a black man. Also, a new villain was needed. How about a straight white male?
    - Captain Marvel: Should I even talk about it? After associating all white males with the terms "trolls", "racist", "misogynist", etc, this movie about "female empowerment" gives us Captain Marvel, some sort of Deux ex Machina to save the Avengers. Great. All I have is one question; what is the message behind this movie? That in desperate situations, a female will burst out of nowhere and help you out as she posseses more power because of her sex? Where was she before? Wouldn'it be a more positive message to show the world that genuine collaboration can save the day?

Of course, I am a "bad guy priviledged wihte male".
And to spur the hate I would love to tell you that I don't have an black, nor asian, nor female friends. I have friends who happen to be black, asian and female.

Politics have nothing to do with entertainment, and putting people in boxes will certainly not help stop racism. If you really want to stop racism, stop putting people in boxes and let them be what they really are: people.
