A few days ago, in Evergreen, Alabama a man in a white truck was seen dragging his Pit Bull dog behind his white truck. The location was at the Interstate 65 offramp while pulling through a gas station.
The driver stopped and cut the dog loose, then drove away. When witnesses reached the dog, he had already expired.
Whoever did this heinous crime has likely been cruel to animals before, will most certainly reoffend against another animal again, and eventually move on to brutalise people - if he has not already!
We urge the Sheriff's office to take this case seriously, and the justice system to do likewise once the perpetrator is caught - by giving him the maximum the law allows.
Given witnesses and photo evidence - the driver should be found quickly!
