Whistleblowers within both the UK childcare system and education have been treated atrociously. Some complaints of child abuse have been covered up, ignored, and in some cases the complainant has been locked up to keep them quiet. This petition asks that there is set in place a procedure that not only protects these people, many of them victims and survivors, but also sets out a procedure for how these allegations are investigated. The treatment of our most valuable commodity, our children, must be the highest priortiy for all people that live on these islands!
Please set up a standards and procedure as to how the police or other parties deal with allegations of child abuse. Both our children, and the people brave enough to come forward, need our full support.
