Southern Railway Disruption - 9 to 5

In January 2015, due to refurbishments to London Bridge station, Reigate and Redhill routes into London Bridge are to be severley disrupted (Services have already been cancelled this year) reducing the peak hour trains from 9 trains down to 5, those that remain running we are informed, will run slower.

This disruption is forecast to run for four years at a time when rail fares are on the increase and represents a monumental inconvenience for Redhill and Reigate commuters, not to mention the potential additional stress and expense of travelling across London to reach your destination.

It also has a knock on effect to overcrowding to those travelling into Victoria and anyone coming in from Brighton, Horsham or Gatwick

Please sign this petition if you would like to see southern railway offer compensation to their customers for the duration of this reduced service in the form of a reduction in ticket fares for these peak times.  Southern claims far more every year in compensation from National rail than it ever delivers to it's customers.  At the very least we (the commuters) should be exempt from the traditional annual inflation busting price increases
